Ancestral is visual kei band, formed in November 2001 by Satoru and Toshiaki. Members of the band changed a lot in recent years. They started to record some demos in 2007 and finally on 25th March 2009 they released full album - "The Beginning". On 24th March 2010 they announced hiatus, but in 28th June same year Jiro and Seaya joined the band and they started activities again. On 28th July they released new single - "Solitude／My frailty". On the same date next year they released another single - "b(L)inded". 16th November 2012 drummer Seaya depart and the band goes on hiatus.
